How can you make the best of this for us?</h4>First of all, you should know that 9 times out of 10, the male in the family came to the session against his will (lol). When my portrait sessions are over, I usually hear the husband/boyfriend/fiancé say, or I'm told they say something along the lines of, "wow, that went by faster than I thought", or "wow, that was easier than I thought".As for the kiddos, I try my best to make it fun for them. For them, this should be looked at as time with their family, playing outdoors, a chance to be silly and a chance to snuggle with parents, or siblings. I don't push children to smile. I try to make it easy for them to warm up to me. If they're not willing to smile, I'll dive right into the lifestyle shots, let them play and warm up to the camera, then try for the posed images. My goal is to make this time with me fun! If all else fails though, I can typically try using Photoshop to make things work and try and get at least one "perfect smiling shot". But, I need two photos with the same lighting, body positioning and camera angle to be the same, or close to the same to make that happen. Also, let's be real, not every photo of a child will be of them smiling and looking at the camera, but that's real life and it also happens to be the style my clients come to me for! <h4>My child has special needs. Should I be nervous about our session?</h4>It's definitely not required that you tell me information that gets shared with a doctor, it is helpful information and I will not share it! I would love to spend more than the normal allotted shooting time with your child, so he/she can hopefully trust me, a stranger to take their photograph.I have a lot of first hand experience with a special needs child because I have worked with Special Olympics Texas as a Swim Coach since 2017 and have neurodivergencies myself (tourettes syndrome)!&nbsp;I know the goal for a lot of parents is to have a photo of their children and family all smiling and looking at the camera. I will try to get that shot, but I will also get a lot of the in between, real life shots.Also, see the question above!

<h4>What Do I Do With My Body?</h4>Believe me, even I feel awkward in front of a camera sometimes! I don’t like to use the word “posing” because often what comes to mind is those cheesy school photos, and these are not those!I will help guide you to some natural positions that will look great in your photos. I will encourage you to interact with your partner or family members as much as possible. I love seeing movement, dancing, hugs, and twirling. My goal is for you to have fun, be interactive with your loved ones, and capture awesome photos. <h4>What Do You Describe Your Style As?</h4>I like to describe my style as authentic and candid, with gentle guidance and direction for portraits and group photos. My goal is to capture the true moments of the day and I want you to be able to enjoy your event without being bombarded by a camera in your face. It is important to me to be able to capture your wstory without taking anything away from your experience. I don’t rely too much on posing, but I do provide gentle guidance and direction to get the best photos of your story. My editing style is earthy and warm with a lean toward the natural colors and warmth of the enviroment. You can view some examples of my most recent work on<a href="https://www.instagram.com/pm_photo_stories/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(96, 117, 96);"> Instagram</a> here. <h4>Can I Have The Original RAW Images?</h4>The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. These are files that are extreamly large and require very specialized programs to open and manipulate Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.<h4> </h4><h4>Do You Watermark Images?</h4>Yes and No! Most sessions with me will have a "proof gallery" to chose the images that best represent your story. Proof gallery images are watermarked. However, I strongly believe you should have photos that are unmarked and all chosen and purchased images will have no watermark. <h4>Will I Own My Photos?</h4>Yes and No! Once delivered, your images will come with a print release to be able to print as you choses and can be cropped for personal purposes. I do, however, ask that filters and extra editing not be made and for credit by name for any businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes. <h4>How Will I Get My Photos?</h4>The photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the provided Password, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints. <h4>What's an online gallery?</h4>It's your own private link, where you can view and download images to your computer and buy professional prints, if you choose. When I'm finished editing your images, I'll send the link to your proof gallery, via email. It's private/password protected and you can forward to your friends and family if you want! You can select your favorite images here or request a meeting to go over this gallery! Once your favorites are selected your final images will be fully edited and gone over "with a fine tooth comb" and uploaded to that link for you!Please note: Your gallery should be downloaded to your laptop or desktop within 1 month! My online gallery viewer has a set amount of online storage, therefore I delete all older online galleries to make room for newer online galleries. You have 30 days to download your images as many times as you need before the gallery expires, which should be plenty of time! If you miss your month window, I can upload them again when I'm at my computer, BUT you may have to wait or pay for a reupload fee. <h4>Can I purchase a Gift for someone?</h4>Yes! ﻿Hi! I am Paige. A college student majoring in biochemistry at the Univeristy of Houston, with my Associates of Science from Lee Community College with a love for photography and the outdoors. My love for photography started very young at just 8 years old, and even beofre that I have always been that child roaming free in the great outdoors and playing sports in small towns in Virginia and Missouri before finally moving to Texas with a short stay in Arkansas. For me there is nothing better than having a camera in my hand and being outside well before sunrise. I was raised to find joy in being outside and can find joy in a rainstorm. Coming from a military family I traveled frequently, this allowed me to see all kinds of sights and natural wonders and meet all kinds of unique indivduals. I was a college athlete until I blew out my rotator cuff and spent my down time at event being the team photographer as well as a photographer for a local magazine in Conway, Arkansas before moving back home to Mont Belveiu, Texas. In highschool I spent every Friday night under the Friday Night Lights capturing our football team. I have continued my work as a photographer in Mont Belvieu in both portraits, small events, and hunting trips, and look forward to continuing. I am certanily passionate about capturing these memories and writing your story for the years to come.

I recommend starting with the most difficult person to dress. If no one is difficult, start with yourself. Put at least one person in a solid/texture and don’t forget to add layers if possible to 1-2 outfits. Keep in mind the location or background you have picked. Schedule appointments well in advance for hair, makeup, nails, etc. See the examples below to get you started, and you can always ask your photographer for help. Seniors and single individuals: Bring multiple outfits that follow a cohesive color palette to change into during your session and cohesive accessories. I’ve also included recommended shops, &amp; Amazon lists for you to shop immediately &amp; easily.

THE DAY OF<ul><li>Make sure you have pleanty of time to get yourself and anyone else ready</li><li>Budget time for travel, especially if you have multiple locations</li><li>If getting hair and makeup done day of, get to those appointments early to keep the day on track</li><li>Bring any touch up items like makeup, and hairbrushes</li><li>Bring snacks, water, bugspray, comfy walking shoes, and any comfort items for littles</li></ul>AT YOUR SESSION<ul><li>Be patient, photos can make lots of individuals shy and nervous</li><li>Pockets are emptied at the car, give phone, wallet, and keys to photographer during your session</li><li>Take hairties off wrists, sunglasses off, and ball caps off</li></ul>
